Latifa Echakhch - On Words skateboarding Working through a tradition spanningLatifa Echakhch, born in Morocco in 1974, studied at the art academies of Grenoble, Paris Cergy, and Lyon. Now based in Switzerland, Eckakhch is concerned with the concept of culture as well as personal and collective memory in between the poles of of social and political debate. Her often installative works make use of a wide variety of materials, such as brick and raw earth, which she mixes with ink. Latifa Echakhch has realized the Swiss Pavilion
